This very popular Christmas carol receives renewed energy with the charming combination of flutes and optional handbells. Its lively tempo has the momentum needed to bring it to its traditional exuberant conclusion. The range is from C4 to Bb6 and all parts are of equal difficulty with accented sections and then rising scale passages. If handbells are not available, this part could be played on piano, xylophone, or vibraphone. This is scored for six C flutes, handbells, with optional alto and bass.
