Founded in 1982 by Lillian Burkart and James Phelan, Burkart instruments have always been known for their resonance, easy control, extremes in tonal color, and dynamic range. Today, these world-class flutes and piccolos are played by students, teachers, amateurs, and professionals in over 35 countries.
